Sunday Morning Gathering

The basics:

Gather with us on Sundays at 10am

What do I wear?

We’re a pretty relaxed crew so wear whatever you feel comfortable in… honestly, no judgments here.

How do I know where to go?

When you arrive, look for folks wearing blue shirts (that also say “blue shirt” on them so you don’t miss them). They will be there to get you in the right places, guide you along the way, and answer any questions you may have.

What about my kids?

We have classes for kids 5th grade and below. Get them checked in at the kids check-in desk and one of our Blue Shirts or Kids workers will help you get checked in. While Pre-K and below will be in the classrooms during the entire service, K-5th Grade kids typically stay with parents in the main gathering room for the first part of the service and are then dismissed to their classrooms just before the sermon. We put a big slide on the screens to make it nice and clear. Our workers will escort the kids to their classes. They’ll come back and join you after the message.

You can also pre-check in your kids - before even leaving the house - by using the Church Center App (Apple App Store, Google Play Store) to make the check-in process as quick and easy as possible.

overall, What should I expect?

At our Sunday Gathering with theRefuge Church, we:

  • CELEBRATE Jesus through singing.

  • HEAR from Jesus through His Word.

  • RESPOND to Jesus through singing, communion, baptism, or sharing.

We would love to meet you when you visit our Church Family. Look for one of our pastors or some of our staff after our Gatherings. Allow us to serve you, pray with you, or answer any questions you may have.

Stop just “going to church”…Start BEING the church!

Regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome here! We invite you to seek Jesus with us – as He is the HERO of our church. At theRefuge, Sunday is not a time for us to simply “go to church” but to gather as the church and celebrate Jesus.

We are learning to BE the church.  How? By reorienting all of our lives around the power and the purpose of the gospel as we follow Jesus on mission - for our communities, our city, our region, and the world.
